It seems Mr. Kerry has taken the hint, and has decided to sit out this upcoming presidential election campaign. After the painful experience of 2004, for him and for us, I for one am delighted he reached this decision.

He DID NOT, however, spare the morale of our military and the confidence of all involved in the Iraq effort a detailed and woeful drubbing from the safety of the Senate floor. He criticized every possible aspect of the operation before extolling his self pride in his virtuous treason in the Vietnam era and his solemn glee at repeating his impotent impudence! ! !
