Do they read for pleasure? my daugher is not even 2, but she loves books being read to her, and her patience to sit still through an entire childrens book is remarkable. I'm hoping she's going to be a reader, and i will encourage it the best i can. On a slightly different topic, there have been so many reports as of recent (including the latest cover of Time magazine) discussing how our youth is really in educational trouble- we need to do more to keep our children in the classroom. The statistics of America's HS dropout rate is so disturbing. |
