Al igual que sus compañeros de exposición, los temas que le preocupan son la violencia, la religiosidad, la desigualdad, lo falso y lo real. Gowda expone en Madrid esculturas realizadas con bidones, barriles con brea o excrementos de vaca. La obra más representativa que se podrá ver en la exposición es <I>Chimera (Quimera),</I> un barril de alquitrán vacío donde el espectador puede contemplar su imagen difuminada como en un pozo de agua. Para otra de sus piezas, <I>A blanket and the sky (Una manta y el cielo),</I> ha recogido planchas de metal de las casetas que los obreros de la construcción utilizan para guardar sus herramientas.
