Thank God someone is thinking!!!

One of the best comics of USSR once said about the soccer teams that it's nothing but 11 idiots kicking the ball around. Why not hook up a device to them to generate electricity, at least that way there'll be some benefit. This is a paraphrased translation but kind of applies.

Seriously though, the waves energy sounds like a great idea, especially if you take regions like Australia etc. Also, I would think they should be able to apply similar technology to waterfalls. Certainly an interesting concept & a worthwhile endeavor.
