Has anyone tried Webjam? (listed in the Mashables column) You shall have to enlighten me - what is the site to which you point? I went to it, but I don't understand its purpose (this is not surprising). Me neither; that's why I asked? :~) It looks like a webpage that's gonna have 'everything', which I think I'd like so I could econmize my sites. "I don't no nuthin' about" the internet and Godfrey seems to. Here's the address: http://mashable.com/2006/11/23/webjam-launches-myspace-plus-netvibes-on-steroids/ Looks to me like a thoroughly customizable homepage app, as they self-describe, "NetVibes and MySpace combined on steroids", but their registration form appears to be broken and I haven't been able to get in to find out first hand. I was easily registered this morning. (I think I'm registered everywhere in cyberspace except MySpace which seemed like a hang out for silly teen-agers. (Silly teen-agers are nice; don't get me wrong.)) This looked fairly simple so I'm going to give it a try. Keeps crashing my Flock. Looks promising so I'll check it later. I just tried again in The Fox and IE7 and clicking the register button does nothing, totally dead. here's my pageflakes page which I can't recommend highly enough Your page is a complete blank, as I'm viewing it; both in The Fox and in IE7. They fixed their registration problems at WebJam and I'm now registered but haven't had time to explore it yet. |
