I hate to get into this whole pheromone discussion, but I have NEVER been drawn to someone from natural smell, although ppl swear by it. Perhaps I have used steroid nasal spray for too many years, who knows?? Matter of fact, I think the consumerism of covering up the natural smell of the human body is fear driven to a large degree. Obviously it is good to be clean, but when you think about it we are swathing on just about everything to be appealing to others. (And I'm not talking about simple deodorant) Now, in my life, I've had plenty of ppl say that they loved the way I smelled (and tasted, but that's another story), but I always thought... ok deb. but haven't you ever been with someone who just didn't smell right? i'm not talking about body odor, in the yucky stinky sweaty sort of way or bad breath or even the scent of their personal products. just didn't work for me - boy, i sure have! and i've had the opposite too - someone who just smelled right to me .... No, I have not. Never. I mean, I've heard people say that and I believe them. Perhaps their sense of smell is keener. I've just never experienced it. I've never had anyone who smelled just right either, although plenty of ppl have told me I do. There are certain products I like the smell of like hair products and perfume. I do believe that perfume smells different on different people. I have a trademark perfume I wear and it doesn't smell the same on other's (although it smelled the same on both my girls).
