So what does this mean for somone who is blind from birth?
It would seem those who are blind or hearing impaired from birth might have the advantage of being totally non-biased and perhaps more intelligent thinkers?

Fascinating. That would certainly explain common preferences for mates within one's social/racial group. This of course raises the question of what is happening the rest of the time.
More broadly, could this contribute to older people becoming more 'set' in their ways?
