You would think she, along with a husband worth an estimated billion dollars, would lease or buy and fly their own plane, or fly first class on commercial airlines like other rich people. Plus when her face lift lets go, it will probably take out a city block. This is an example of the side effects of Obama's arrogance, as his own display gave her the unspoken O.K. to release any constraints she'd been maintaining on her own rampant arrogance and sense of overall superiority. These people are really amazing. Truly outrageous. Nothing wrong with calling foul when there is a foul, but the Right needs to learn to stop clinging to false reasons to dislike Pelosi (like the fully-debunked myth that she lied about being briefed on waterboarding; other members of congress who were reportedly at that meeting have come out to say that no such meeting ever happened). Politicians have done enough things to call them only on what they've actually done without fabricating myth and fantasy about them. And it's not like antics like this are not parallelled by the Republican Party as well. Palin comes to mind for using Republican Party Campaign Funds to pay for transporting her family around for personal reasons. It's silly and ... |
