BNM, I read about your bacon clips but never really got to them. Are you teasing us men or fluffing us? Alan, that bacon bar looks really good. Don't knock it until you've tried it. Righthand, what kind of pudding? Skwirl...I wouldn't tease, but you should look at the bacon clipcast. It gets funnier to me every day. Years ago I had the best appetizer at a restaurant I have ever tasted and have never tasted since. It consisted of nice fat oysters wrapped in bacon served on a bed of spinach with a creamy sauce drizzled over it all then broiled until it was nice and hot and the flavours all blended. I'd give almost anything to get the recipe for it. there is a large percentage of the world who has not tatsed bacon Damn, I luv bacon. Me too! Does anyone recognize the dish I described? PLEASE!!!!! I'm sorry, Tanya, I haven't seen that dish. Hopefully someone will recognize it. Damn Tany, I am so hungry just thinking about it! I ate that tasty dish over twenty years ago and I still think about it . There's a bacon flowchart on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/fncll/2129889439/sizes/o/ It's funny, but also kind of amazing..... hey BNM, I'm watching Fox&Friends and they just had a piece about "weird food combinations" and they high-lighted "Chocolate Covered Bacon." Then, they showed it at a specialty deli for $4.50 for 1\4 lb. I really think you're on to something. Righthand, what kind of pudding?Black. |
