blueridge says: This is excerpts from bi-partisan hearing to address grievances on Federal power. The SWAT raid by Fish and Wildlife is worth reading in the original, and a great example of the insanity of present Federal power. I live next to a Corps of Engineers project. All too often, employees of the Corps hand out tickets or call the local sheriff deputies for "offenses" that could better be handled by a little common sense. Just because one has the power, does not mean it should be exercised to the fullest extent. Government regulations cannot be followed by the ordinary citizen, just look at the IRS regulations, let alone any of the other Federal agencies' regs. |
