I could have made this comment on a number of different clips with few other people. I have been on this site for a few years, i remember when people didn't attack each other, when people shared thier oppinions. Fine call me a Hippy i don't really care, even if you seem to think its some sort of swear word. Having a different opinion- i really don't care about that except so that i can learn things, increase my knowledge and understand other people more fully. I think it's fantastic that you have a different opinion. but attacking each other is not what this... Will they get a tax break for their donations? I don't begrudge those Africans and Indians but I won't be surprised if, much like all that Stimulus money, no one will know where it goes and it will end up the hands of corrupt UN officials, indigenous thugs, etc... Is Bill Gates an American? I've heard there's lots of hunger & poverty here AND we have a huge debt that Washington is destroying his Country with. He could spend it here, couldn't he? I'm pleased that Mr. Gates does good things with his money, it will be interesting to follow the project to see how it goes. I also hope they keep the GM seed out of the picture since that stuff is quite expensive and does not re-seed itself, among other (ahem!) drawbacks. However, that does not change the fact that Mr. Gates is the Al Capone of the computer world and not a Nice Guy by any means. A few business ethics courses would not be amiss for him. |
