The most important thing that we must do and do soon is pass laws forbidding discrimination of any kind based on genetic defects. If we do not do this, many people will find out that no company will hire them because their DNA indicates a higher risk for such things as cancer, depression, heart disease. These same people will discover that no insurance company will cover them for the same reason. There is a great deal of this type of discriminating taking place right now. As time goes by and more of the decoded DNA's use is discovered, discrimination will grow. Laws need to be in place to protect against DNA discrimination.

I highly agree with you on this topic. The basic problem is that individuals with most money plunder most power for themselves – so they can create laws as they fit their interests (mostly lust for more many and power).
