I think the brownish thing is the follicle, and the yellowish thing is the egg. Behind it all must be the ovary.

It really is the neatest thing I've seen all day. I'm glad they put identifiers on the picture. This happens every day all over the world, in all of history, and we are just now capturing it with any clarity. Amazing.
