About that part of the bill, Reuter's says: The bill seeks to revive a plan already passed by both the Senate and the House of Representatives that would allow the federal government to sue OPEC -- source of one-third of global oil supply -- for price manipulation. Sounds like either Reuters or your author may have stretched the facts just a teeny. I don't think so. I believe that Hillary was pretty clear when she said she would punish OPEC by bringing them up on charges in the World Court. But, regardless, the entire idea is lunacy. |
