In Australia we have the saying "He could sell you the Harbour Bridge" Which is a way of describing a great salesman. The US equivalent would be putting the Statue of Liberty on Ebay. Unlike Russia, no one who has bought the Harbour Bridge, or Statue of Liberty,(apart from the original owners,)has ever taken possession. Russians must know if you are going to sell bridges, it's better to pick ones that are less conspicious.
