They have a shorter work week and get a LOT of vacation time. Fully employed French workers average about seven weeks of paid vacation a year. In America, that figure is less than four. They have cradle to grave healthcare. They have more time to spend with family. Their schools are good across the entire country. Socialism has a lot of benefits for citizens. What are the benefits we are getting from this? This is a bailout of capitalism, plain and simple. France before the Revolution? Yes, I guess we are like France before the Revolution. How sad. of course we are not france, we eat mcdonald's and drive gas guzzlers. the inference was to the GOP bailout as so much corporate welfare |
