The media is common enemy that I think we can all agree to dislike or hate. I hate to use that word "hate," but sometimes it's appropriate.

It's been said that what divides us as a country is not nearly as strong as what unites us. And what could unite us more than our common enemies?

This reminds me of a west wing episode that goes something like this:

President Bartlet: We agree on nothing, Max!
Senator Max Labell: Yes, sir!
Bartlet: Guns, drugs, education, school prayer, defense spending - you name it --we disagree!
Labell: You know why?!
Bartlet: Because I'm a lilly livered bleeding-heart liberal, egghead communist?
Labell: Yes sir! And I'm a redneck gun-toting son of a bitch!
Bartlet: Yes, you are.
Labell: We agree about that.
