Squirrels actually hold a fondness to me. Before my dad died he liked to go out on his porch and get them to come up and take peanuts out of his hand. Once he had a little shock when a squirrel crawled up his back while he feeding another. Pretty hilarious to see him dancing around like he had a huge spider on his back pounding himself senseless!

The few encounters I've had with squirrels were very
pleasant. I knew one that used to climb up a tall pine tree
so he could see inside my second-floor bedroom window
and furiously flip his tail to get my attention. (I had over
slept and he wanted peanuts)
