1. Burn <SPAN class="hilite">ISO</SPAN> to DVD±RW.

2. Open burned disc in <A class="postlink" target="_blank" href="http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=DVD_Decrypter" rel="nofollow">DVD-Decrypter</A>. <SPAN>IFO Mode</SPAN>. Set IFO/File preferences to unlimited filesize/Filesplitting=none. Select longest PGC (should say ~1hour long beside)--it usually does this for you. Rip. You'll end up w/ 1 long VOB.

3. Open VOB in <A class="postlink" target="_blank" href="http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=VirtualdubMOD" rel="nofollow">VirtualdubMod</A>. Select Audio stream in streams list.Save as WAVE. Set compression to DivX (must have already installed). Add filters to smart resize down to 320x240, <SPAN class="hilite">deinterlacing</SPAN>. Set Framerate to Convert to 15fps by decimating by 2 (skip everyother). Set compression bitrate to ~250kbps (2pass <SPAN class="hilite">VBR</SPAN> if available). Save the AVI.

4. Open AVI in <A class="postlink" target="_blank" href="http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=Virtualdub" rel="nofollow">Virtualdub</A>. Select WAV as audio (not source). Video=Direct Stream copy. Audio=Full processing. Set audio compression to <A class="postlink" target="_blank" href="http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=Lame_MP3" rel="nofollow">LAME mp3</A> (must have installed 1st). Mono. 16bit, 22kHz. ~48kbps. Save AVI.

5. Send the resultant AVI to your friend. Should look pretty GOOD!
