I was very interested in this story, probably due to the mystery surrounding Leonardo's work and life but was surprised at my fillings about this, being a curious, sum what hairless, person I think some things should be left a mystery and unscrutinized. The mystery is part of the beauty.

They found out how he painted. What will never be known is why he painted that way. Apart from what his art can suggest to the imagination, and what his writing says about his thoughts.

I think his genius was the connection between art and math. That is why there will still be mystery about his work...the unique association he had in the way his mind worked.
