Faced with the possibility of a so-called upgrade from XP I’ve been reading any review of Windows 7 I can find.

So far the reviews are favorable but I would like more than one month experience to decide.

XP is set up just about perfectly for me and I am not eager to leave it.

Has anyone out there switched yet? Maybe others would like to hear of your thoughts on it too.

My XP computer died about a year ago, and the only replacements readily available were Vista-equipped. I HATE Vista. If it weren't for the fact that the applications I depend on don't have proper equivalents, I'd be using Linux now. Maybe Win 7 will be an improvement, but I'll believe it when I see it. The only time Microsoft will ever make a product that doesn't suck is when they try to make a vacuum cleaner.
