Agreed! Even the people waiting did nothing for an hour!
What the hell is wrong with people? I know people are apathetic, but anyone could have demanded she be attended to. Her family is... in Jamaica I think and can't afford to even have her body flown back to her own family and country of origin. You would hope the hospital would have already offered. As of now they have not.

Health Care in America.

It ends up this woman dies after waiting 24 hours for a bed. She died of a blood clot, not from "Mental Illness"

But it could be argued that she was ignored to the fact that
1) she was poor and likely uninsured or on Medicaid or Medicare.

2) More important she was ignored because she was deemed "mentally ill" but it was the waiting for 24 hours with no place to lie down, sleep or eat that led to her death.
