Those of us who served in the Army Security Agency were recruited on the basis that we registered in the top 2% of IQ of the military. We were expected to perform at a job level commensurate with that intelligence level.

Am I, somehow, to feel a sense of guilt for having been born of above average intelligence? Of course not. We all have our strengths and our flaws.

No doubt, before July 20, 1969, there were some who were hoping that the Moon really was made of "Green Cheese." But that "one small step for man" proved otherwise.

It is reality that verifies truth, not wishful thinking. There have been many studies on the reasons for IQ disparities, not the least of which was the Bell Curve, which drew "mortar fire" from the offended. One of the more recent studies was done by Cambridge University educated, Richard Lynn, Ph.D., University of Ulster.
