It has told members of the <A href="http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/04/29/updated-list-microsoft%E2%80%99s-nominees-for-the-yahoo-board/">alternate board of directors</A> it had lined up for a possible hostile proxy battle over Yahoo that it won’t be needing their services.
