Good - I hope they have to pay through the nose! Probably like the whole AMT thing here. Residents of big tax states are going to get much bigger federal tax bills - and I would think they should just LOVE knowing that the government is going to take more of their money.

So why don't people actually just pay more than they owe today? If they are so concerned that is.

Because they know that it makes them sound like a "good person" to tell some pollster what they obviously want to hear. But when it comes to paying the bills - I would think they will squeal like stuck pigs if their bill just doubled next month to pay for "climate change".
