People just don't seem to realize how important these things are.

Climates change. Always have, always will (at least until Rove releases the plans on his magic weather machine). And there is nothing you, I, or the Goracle can do about it (Rove on the other hand...).

If you admit that the climate is changing, n2sooners, then why do you constantly post false and misleading information trying to convince us to deny it?

I believe the climate is always changing. What I oppose is the idea that the climate wouldn't be changing if it weren't for mankind. That is just flat out insulting yet so many people buy into that kind of alarmist pretend science.

That's nice, but I don't think you have read any of the 5 or 6 peer-reviewed articles I keep sending to you in response to your false and misleading posts. Is it pretend science when the National Academies writes that increased CO2 is a forcing that can increase the number of mechanisms, and the probability that one or more mechanism will lead to an abrupt climate change?

I'm sorry, but I don't have nearly as much confidence in peer reviewed articles because they have an agenda. If piss poor science such as the hockey stick (which is what much global warming alarmism is based on) can get peer reviewed, then how can you trust any of the peer reviewed science to be factual?

I just don't buy it. I don't think we know nearly enough to say for sure what is causing global warming because we don't have all the facts. But the fact that they are willing to jump the gun without all the facts and blame it on mankind worries me. Science just isn't supposed to work that way. And now that people are actually trying to silence anyone who disputes any science that says glob...

There is a historical cycle (documented at the library for those who care to know the truth) where the media has reported Global Warming is coming...only to report 10-15 yrs later that Global Cooling is going to ruin us all. It's been going on in the media and with wannabe scientists with an meglomaniac complex for at least 150 yrs.

I find it very incredulous that you think scientists have "an agenda," and that agenda is so obvious that what it is requires no explanation, but that the "science" coming from those with vested interests in burning fossil fuels is at least as credible.

I also am confused by your belief that climate change skeptics are being silenced by some conspiracy. 90% of the articles I find on the Internet think it's all a hoax.

I think you've got it backwards on both counts. Energy companies have the agenda--make more money by keeping demand up for fossil fuels. They also are executing a well-funded propaganda campaign to push false and misleading ideas to the public.

apparently only 57% of america is at all considered about global warming or climate change, the rest of the world is taking this more seriously. A large part of America is either stuck in traffic and listening to americas top 40 instead of the news, or just too self involved for concern

I'm afraid an even larger part of America is happily swallowing the bullshit being shoveled by those with vested interests in a continued demand for fossil fuels.
