I don't believe that any thing that happens amid this Administration will surprise me. As hard as we try, we know what is happening with the degradation of our culture. There is no one who will stand up against the abuses of power. Mainly because most Americans don't care.

Whether it was $800 or $6,000 she obviously has no connection to or compassion for the 'common folk' who are losing their homes and jobs and struggling to put food on their tables.

Sure, they have to keep up an image on the world stage, but this wanton excess is embarrassing and sinful.

I watched something about this on a TV show yesterday, ( OK it was "The View" ) and the purse did not cost $6000. It cost $1000 still a lot but a far cry from the original price quoted. And, as was also said, She does have her own money to spend.

If The View said it cost $1000, then it probably cost $12000.
