I was dive bombed the other day by a small blackbird. after the 2nd attack I when back to the site of the 1st attack and found a chick at the base of a cypress tree. placed it back in the tree and the attacks stopped.

Way to go blackbird! It's instinctive to protect home and family from potential dangers. :~)
