Wisco says:
Call this a companion to my morning post. The piece tells us:

[T]here are powerful political and economic realities that must be quickly overcome for Obama to succeed. Despite the urgency he expresses, it's not at all clear that he and Congress will agree on an approach during a worldwide financial crisis in time to meet some of the more crucial deadlines.
Repeat this as often as you can; "the environment and financial crises have the same solution."

What amazes me is that a large group of people believe a sky daddy came down and impregnated a virgin that gave birth to another version of himself and rose from the dead to save us all with out the slightest shred of evidence that the story is true. And that same group finds GW hard to believe.

GW hard to believe
Thank you for your honesty. So, you "believe" it.

You do not understand it.
You do not know the science around it?
You have not read the IPCC reports.
You haven't read the scientists who support it and weigh the evidence against the scientists who don't ( more don't support it by the way).

However, you do point to a very interesting issue...

You know that's a lie. Lying is a sin. You're so goin' to hell.

The faith in God ( and a Christian God in particular) stands the test of libraries full of philosophy, apologetics, beautifully consistent theology, history, witnesses and examples of the lives who've lived their faith
Any religion could make that claim. In fact, if you're going to use the popularity of a belief as proof of its worth, you've got yourself a little bit of a logical problem -- the vast majority of the world isn't Christian. In other words...

God grief! Another 12 year old at clipmarks! Wisco, there is absolutely nothing in your comment that shows signs of functioning brain cells, not to mention logic.

Shriek all you want, but nothing can hide the fact that you didn't answer either of my arguments. In fact, it kind of highlights that fact. One shot and you're out of ammo, so you resort to insults -- as if that passes for reason.

You really shouldn't get into these debates if you're going to be such a lightweight.

Wisco, I've had these debates for 2 years a clipmarks and not one single time has any ever provided one scientific fact that supports global warming. If you want my opinion, then the record is very clear. Excuse me that I do not waste my time on idiots. If you have a case, then make it. Don't act 12.

That is such obvious bullshit that you wish there were a stronger word for bullshit. You're telling me that for two years, no one has pointed out that pumping millions of tons of CO2 into the atmosphere and changing its chemical makeup might have some adverse effects? Seriously?

You brought up the IPCC report. You know the facts. You're just such a brainwashed right wing zombie that you don't want to believe it.

If you're that committed to preserving your ignorance, I can't help you. There's absolutely nothing I can do ...

Go ahead, make a case.

I don't have to, [url="http://www.greenfacts.org/climate-change/ipcc/ipcc.htm"}the case has been made[/url]. The debate is over. Only those wedded to their ignorance deny it -- like people who still think the world is flat. Nothing I can do will wise you up and, frankly, I don't give a damn if you ever do.

I suppose I could point out that the world's lost 2 trillion tons of ice since 2003, but I doubt that'd make a dent in your self-constructed wall of ignorance.

The irony here is that you'll believe bullshit fairytales about talking snakes and magic apples, but you won't believe the scientific c...

Wow. That was a great case.

You should do some clipmarks mining.

http://clipmarks.com/clipper/willhelm/clipcast/global+warming/

Then, tell us what the Earth's temperature is supposed to be. Then, explain all the simultaneous warming occurring throughout the solar system over the past decade.

Then, learn a little about obliquity and how the peak obliquity is waning.

Then, learn that the number one greenhouse gas is water vapor, which after warming occurs by solar irradiance, increases in the atmosphere and causes the increase in CO2.

Then, explain how co2 increase follows warming, it does not precede it, and still fits into the alar...

That's selective quoting and you know it, culty. Do I need to remind you again that bearing false witness is a sin? 2004 isn't the most recent report. Try this if you're interested in anything other than bullshit. Picking and choosing your "facts" only proves your dishonesty. In any case, you wouldn't listen to the facts anyway.

So, oh dear, I've failed to educate the ineducable. What a huge surprise. Ten bucks says you've got a beef with evolution, too.

Seriously, give me one good reason why I should waste my time arguing with some internet troll who denies what he sees happening right in front of his face? Why should I ex...

Somehow my first warning didn't make it so as a belated Public Service Announcement to all clippers I offer this bit of advice to Wisco (just a friendly reminder, ok ) and all who struggle with the likes of The Wilhelm :
