I always thought that the right to protest was not challenged in this country. I guess I was a little naive on this point. Amazing how you can just assume that you have rights in a free America......then, something comes along that makes you realize not to let your guard down, or you might find yourself in an America that you don't recognize anymore. Good thing we got the ACLU to counteract the bullies who want control over the masses....at any cost......including the degradation of the U.S. Constitution. Bush and the boys have been doing this sort of thing for the past seven years.

schreibe, my friend, you are absolutely correct. The Bushies have interfered with the right to demonstrate constantly. They even convinced or intimidated the mayor of New York City to make a mockery of free speech and the right to demonstrate during the 2004 Republican convention. What was done to protesters in that city was a shame, and there are several court cases being fought over that issue as I type.

This is a huge victory, which deserves headlines!!!!
The right wing controlled media won't allow that.
One step at a time. I am still getting up the nerve to wear my "Impeach Cheney?" cap.

Yes, indeed, this small article tells of one small victory for freedom. Now, let's hope there will be many more common sense decisions made to correct what this horrible Bush/Cheney administration has done to our Nation. Just as long as the injustices don't hit the Supreme Court, we'll then have a chance to reconcile the countless wrongs the same way.

So much for fiscal conservatism. $80,000 down the rabbit hole in service to The Decider's vanity and fantasy. IMPEACH!!!!
