Wisco says:

The results of a SurveyUSA poll on whether the debate should be cancelled, as McCain suggests. Opinions seem to be rapidly moving away from McCain's position here -- today, 75% think it should go on, rocketing up from 50% yesterday.

It's starting to look like John really pulled a boner here.

23% today Thursday say the debate should be postponed, up from 10% yesterday Wednesday. 
The movement is primarily among Republicans, who, learning of McCain's intentions, now align as follows:
