Cat's aren't cranky, they're independent thinkers and don't like to be forced to do things that do not interest them.

I agree that cats aren't "cranky". My cat loves tapioca pudding.

I wonder who paid for this research. I have 6 cats, one of which LOVES pudding, and 3 others that will happily eat it along with other sweets.

Well-my cat enjoys her "supper" - just before bedtime, 4 spoonfulls of natural joghourt, enriched with "sweetener" (because I don't have sugar in the house!) and oh WEEEEEHHHH if I leave the sweetener out! Maiouuuuuuu all night long!
