No debían ser mayores de 15 años. (Entraban en la vida monástica con 11 y 12 años).( Edad Media)  <BR />    <STRONG>2</STRONG>. No podían ser hijos ilegítimos.  <BR />    <STRONG>3</STRONG>. No podían tener hermanos en el monasterio.  <BR />    <STRONG>4</STRONG>. No podían tener defectos físicos  <BR />    <STRONG>5</STRONG>. Debían tener unas nociones de latín, lo que nos da idea que eran hijos de nobles; en aquella época era muy poca población la que sabía leer y escribir, y mucho menos conocían el latín.  <BR />    <STRONG>6</STRONG>. El segundo hijo durante la Edad Media de una familia de nobles solía ser quién entraba al Monasterio (el primero iba al Ejército).
