egoldstein says: Who can argue with Julia...she has to be right! Julia is definitely someone i have a great deal of respect for. In my mind, she's ahead of the curve when it comes to fully grasping the powerful social implications of the web. Having her think so highly of clipmarks really means a lot to us. Thanks Julia! (blush) I have a great deal of respect for Clipmarks too. Look how far you guys have come! Clipmarks is revolutionizing social bookmarking and I am so proud and honored to be a valued member of this community. it's not revolutionizing anything with a constipated ver 3!! Maybe the guys need some glowing prunes! .....because the entire team at Clipmarks are active participants and really care about the communityI wish our community will take the ceiling of the web very soon. I m proud to be a member of the community and i will contribute maximum i can. Read more >> Options >> In the politest possible way I can, POP for boozich comment. I sense the echo chamber effect of a small, inbred community. Ok Ok Ok....i'll admit i have a 6 fingered hand...but i really need it!! Not aimed at you boozich, though I like the sixth finger. I was referring to the Juliapatriciaroy & Eric comments. I am not trying to be confrontational but I don't see her as having an independent opinion. This is the same person that dressed up as a clipmark for Halloween, no? A little too close company for a true critique in my opinion. I like the concept of the clipcast. So far implementation is odd as is the interface. The best description I can give it is that it feels like there is this thing in my way. The classic view gave me instant information on my clips and comments, and with the click of a button, on the clips and comments of my favorite clippers. I'll say again that ... I'll say again that I really like the concept of the clipcast and its addition to facebook but now it is a bit of a chore to use clipmarks how I had before. We're going to try to deal with that next week. A few minor, yet meaningful changes should help greatly. alanocu, I haven't followed all your comments on this subject but remember there is such a thing as tough love. You don't always want to hear positive things all the time, particularly from your friends. Thank you alanocu. No apologies are needed, but i certainly appreciate the sentiment you're expressing and the support you have always shown for clipmarks. The beautiful thing is that for some reason just about all the activity on this site, even when it's in the form of criticism, comes from the right place. You have no idea how grateful i am for that. Enjoy the holidays!! |
