This is not a matter of atheism, liberalism, sky pixies or conservatism. It's a matter of religious hypocrisy known as "morals".

(Ever heard of the 10 Commandments? Those who profess them as 'God's word' obviously either don't believe it themselves or couldn't give a crap. And yet they teach it as its true.)
