So my question is why is ACORN and Huffpo so worried about these tea parties? They already have their cohorts in the media mostly blowing them off, so why are they concerned enough that they would try to infiltrate and sabotage these protests?

Did you even bother to read the article or watch the video? Because your questions are answered there. They plan to pretend to be a regular protester to get themselves interviewed by the media (assuming some media shows up) and then say things that would make the people there look like a bunch of idiots or racists. And I am sure the MSM would be all to willing to play along.

As for ACORN, my only guess as to why they would be involved is because of the millions they will be getting through this stimulus package. They worked hard and got their hands very dirty to get that payoff money and they aren't going to just sit back and watch it go.

And finally, the people are behind these parties. The one here is being organized on Facebook and run by volunteers. There will be no politicians speaking, but they are invited to attend. There will be a local radio personality kicking things off, but after that it will be just regular people speaking. And I think that is what scares the likes of Huffpo and ACORN the most.

You are right about one thing though. People do like being lied to, as shown by those who are still standing solidly behind Obama after all the policy changes he has made since taking office.

One other question, since when does cover (as FOX news is doing) or support (such as Malkin is doing) equate to sponsoring? Any evidence of FOX news or any other single source putting up any money into these protests?
