It seems that Holy Joe has finally crossed the line from someone who war supporters felt had the right views for protecting America into someone who even they say has gone too far in advocating war with Iran. The guy is totally over the top. He has been determined to work with the neo-Cons who believe in the PNAC and is always way to interested in protecting Israel over and above his interest in his own country, the USA. I support Israel as well, but not over the interests of my own country. The guy has become a Zionist fanatic.

Connecticut for Lieberman Party Chairman John Orman called Tuesday for Sen. Joe Lieberman to resign, saying his advocacy of a military strike against Iran could explode into a global conflict.

"He has crossed the line," said Orman, a professor of politics at Fairfield University. "His unilateral warmongering could lead to a new World War III."
Doesn't he know that the first consequence of any attack on Iran would be the wiping out out the US army in Iraq. Nothing on this earth except full nuclear war will prevent it.

Does he care? Are American soldiers' lives of any consequence to him? Are his loyalties else where? Should he be keeping Pollard company?

Very good points Righthand. Holy Joe does have loyalties elsewhere. He is always first and foremost concerned about what is good for Israel. As a Jew, I have great interest and concern for Israel, but I am an American first. Senator Lieberman was elected to the Senate of the United States of America, and that is where is loyalties and priorities should always be.

Well said Zasel. I have no problem with 'small zionists' Americans or where ever who put their own country FIRST and serve in their own countries armed services, ONLY!

Ireland only became a truly free country when we put away the begging bowl. Yes, we could have remained a victim state too with maybe more justification than Israel. We had been here trying for centuries. Yes, we needed EU and German money in particular, to prime the pump and allow us a real measure of freedom from our nearest and dearest neighbour, who never quite wants to let go of its previous dominion.

Our progress was extraordinary while we still had not full peace in the northern part of our island. Think what it coul...
