Our children are brought up to believe that war is glorious. Instead of teaching our children that war is the result of political failure, and should only be resorted to as the ultimate last resort, we show them images of marines marching, shooting, running while making war whoops.

So many of us express concern over the violence that is portrayed in video games, and I agree, some of it can be pretty nauseating. But what makes violence any more acceptable for our children just because a flag is being waved in the fore or background?
