I take it investigating the Bible is out of the question for you?

Never mind that it is a priest that did this.

For some ignorance is bliss.

And what does atheism have to do with this? On the contrary I see this as promoting religion.

In what way "sponsored by Atheist Media"?

The BBC, The Middle Classes and irritatingly radical Church of England priests are all pretty much the same thing, but sponsored by Atheist Media they are not.

I feel about them much as one might about a slightly mad great-aunt.

Doesn't it say in the bible that in the last days, men will follow false doctrines and teachings? There's heaps of ancient books written but just because you read it doesn't make it true.

"Doesn't it say in the bible that in the last days, men will follow false doctrines and teachings?"

Yes, but who determines what teachings are "false" and which ones are "authentic" is the very subject of the documentary. What were the politics of why Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John were chosen over the other gospels?

Because if you look at them side by side, they disagree with and contradict each other on a lot of facts and details.

Check out the PBS Frontline documentary "From Jesus to Christ: The First Christians".
