Israel only comes second to the US, as biggest threat to the world.

Quite telling about our ol' friend Edwards. Geez, I think he's just trying to get his name in print. It seems he is so far out of the primary picture he thinks bad news is better than no news. Have you heard about this guys new house? A man of the people is he, you know.

Between this and the bloggers deal - he'd be much smarter to save his money, since his chances of winning are non-existent. Of course nobelprize4peace and the rest of laureates would vote for him, so he'll have enough for a beer party at some tavern in northern Idaho...

Hopefully John Edwards has a snowballs chance in purgatory of making it out of the primaries.

Unfortunately, I think his attitude toward Israel and the Middle East have a good chance of becoming US policy.

Israel is a small nation in the heart of the middle east, where many of it's neighbors want to see them wiped off of the earth. How are they a threat, other than they are trying to exist?

If I was Israel I would have forced all of the Palestinians out of their country, and said either leave or become an Israeli citizen. They should have done this in the 70's and I believe the area would be much more stable and peaceful.

By the way I'm not Jewish, so take this from someone that observes the situation and has an opinion.

As much as logically it makes sense, UpStateMike, it would've never worked. The problem with that conflict isn't that the palestinians want their own state, the problem is that they want all Jews migrating under water. Some people think that they want land and peace... that's NOT what they want.
