　雑誌専門のオンライン書店「Fujisan.co.jp」を運営する富士山マガジンサービスは31日、雑誌のデジタル配信を手がける米Zinio社と、日本におけるデジタル雑誌の展開に関する独占契約を締結したと発表した。Fujisan.co.jpは今秋をめどに、Zinio社の技術を用いたデジタル雑誌の定期購読サービスを開始する。

<BR /><DIV>　Fujisan.co.jpが配信するデジタル雑誌とは、紙の雑誌を表紙から裏表紙まで、中身の広告ページも含めた全ページをデジタル化するもの。情報をキーワード検索できることも特徴だ。当面は、定期購読サービスが中心だが、将来的にはバックナンバーも販売するとしている。

<BR /><DIV>　デジタル雑誌を閲覧するには、Zinio社のソフトを使った専用リーダー「Fujisan Reader」をFujisan.co.jpからダウンロードする。Fujisan Readerは、メモ帳や付箋、ハイライト機能を備え、雑誌をめくるようにしてコンテンツを閲覧できる。

<BR /><DIV>　デジタル雑誌のDRM（著作権管理）機能についても、Zinio社の技術を利用する。具体的には、購入したデジタル雑誌を別のPCなどにコピーできないようにする機能、スクリーンショット防止機能、印刷ページ数を制限する機能などを備える。

<BR /><DIV>　実際に配信する雑誌については、今後出版社に呼びかけていく。紙の雑誌と同じ価格にするかについては、出版社によって異なるという。

<BR />　Zinio社は、2000年に創立。欧米や東南アジアで、デジタル雑誌の販売実績を持ち、IDG、アシェット、プレイボーイなど400誌以上の雑誌をデジタル配信しているという。
