less than 130% of the poverty level. Why do we call it the poverty level if you must make less than that to qualify?

this person's math is backwards.
100% of the poverty level = the poverty level
130% of the poverty level > the poverty level
> indicates more than, not less than

And you Americans worry about a 'socialism' being so bad! Without our dose of socialism here (Canada) we would be exactly in the same boat as you guys.
