I am glad that the media keeps reminding us that Tibet and China are still an issue.

The mainstream media,over the years,has reminded us of too little too late.They will continue to do so,unfortunately,to our peril.

I have to roommates from china that have only been here for 2 months. They are amazed by the things going on between the Tibetans and the Chinese. They have never heard anything about this in the chinese media, their friends back home aren't hearing about the things going on right now either. The chinese media isn't allowed to report on things like this. Things might be different if the chinese actually knew, its not the citizens, its the government.

Americans are fighting and dying in Iraq, Canadians are fighting and dying in Afganistan, and for what? Maybe it's time we stopped listening to our leaders and started doing some serious protesting like was done for Viet Nam. Let's refuse to go and fight a war that is not our own.
