Rendell today asked the U.S. Small Business Administration to declare Erie County a disaster area following a fire in Millcreek Township on March 28 that destroyed a 35-unit building at Granada Apartments. At Governor Rendell’s request, SBA officials, along with local and county officials, and representatives of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency, conducted a damage assessment at the apartment building.
