I have no two-legged kids, but I order thimerosal-free vaccines for my pets ahead of time before they get their shots. They are available, just ordinarily not in stock, so you probably have to order ahead of time and they are a tiny bit more expensive. They are available for people too. There's a lot of conflicting opinions on this issue, but better safe than sorry regarding our kids, I reckon.
