Post election blah-blah tells us America is (as everyone reasonable surely knows) a center-right nation. But Obama won by twice the margin of GWB when they said Bush had a conservative mandate, and interviews suggest Americans knew exactly what they were after.

It does seem rather odd but I've heard all the media pundits, except maybe Keith Olbermann, reassuring America that Obama won't be going "too far to the left" in his handling of foreign affairs and social policy.. I can only hope that Obama has been setting them up for a terrible disappointment.
