Science, as the mind of a scientist, can change its mind. This is the beauty and evolution of thought and how we attain what's true given better information.

Dogma cannot do that, as dogma comes from god, and that would make god fallible. Of course it doesn't really come from god, anyway. It all comes from people who believe if comes from a god.
