Well these has to be such a thing as a Seeing Eye Cat right? Nope. But I have heard of these weird rumors of DOGS! doing these jobs. Now, which one is the Social Virus?

This article appears to assume that a dog's affection for its owner is false or artificial because it is ultimately based on some kind of exchange (i.e. the dog wants to be fed).

But it is not clear to me that the affection humans show for one another (such as the affection a child shows a parent or that a lover shows his partner) is somehow more genuine, transcendent, or sefless than the affection a pet shows its human owner.
