It's not all male misogyny towards women; sadly women seem to be getting better at degrading themselves.

But there would seem to be fewer positive female role models and we have joined in the backlash against ourselves. Why is it that increasingly we seem to prefer our celebrity women thin, dumb, perma-tanned and half naked?

Why is that?
