Would hydrazine really explode in space as cold as it would be out there - seems it would be a neutral reaction? Oh so many theories this all has spawned and will spawn.

Anyone who believes the official justification for destroying this satellite is either willingly ignorant or naive. Such toxic fuel would be no danger any more than a bottle of poison in an ocean. There were covert reasons to do this. Other countries, like Russia and China, have publicly noted this.

BTW, part of the neoconservative Project for New American Century's blueprint for "global hegemony" is for space dominance, in particular to check China's advancement, which is why they are speaking out.
